This IBM/WD controller is basically compatible with the WD1006V-MM2 controller. I formatted (LLF + FDISK + DOS FORMAT) a Seagate ST225 with a WD1006V and was then able to use it with the IBM/WD without any problems.

In this version, the large ICs are soldered directly onto the PCB. The FDC is a Intel P8272A.
